Providing basic Broadband Internet Service to small rural areas in the East-Central Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Goal
Our goal is to provide an faster alternative to dial-up internet, and a less expensive alternative to satellite. We accomplish this goal by using fixed wireless technology from Motorola.
History
Started in 2005, this companys' goal was to bring Broadband Internet to remote users of the Big Bay de Noc area. After continuous growth in subscribers, expansion was planned for Germfask and Naubinway. Germfask was online in the fall of 2007, and Naubinway came online the spring of 2008. Demand for this service continues to grow and we are slowly, but steadly growing with it.
